Parking Lot Etiquette 101

Tea has provided visuals illustrating such parking lot offenses as Straddling, Half Spotting, and pedestrians meandering down the middle of the aisle. No doubt the holiday season (hence, shopping season) has exacerbated the situation.

I'd add people who pull through on diagonal parking, requiring them to go the wrong way down the aisle or turn at an impossible angle to get out. Huge pet peeve of mine. Seriously, this drives me insane. The whole point of diagonal parking is to make it easier to pull in and out by parking on an angle. And with diagonal parking chances are good the aisles isn't wide enough for a) your ass to go the wrong way or b) your ass to make that wide, awkward turn.

Also remember, ultimately it takes less time to park at the far end of the aisle and walk than it does to drive around and around looking for a closer spot. Suck it up and get some exercise, people.

Amen. I usually park at the far end of the lot. It is not only faster to get into the store, it is also faster to get out of the lot cuz people don't walk in the middle of the aisle way out there!

I love those You Park Like An Asshole cards.

A friend of mine and I had an idea for "Oh No You Di-int!" cards. With blanks to fill in, of course.
