Things I'm Kicking Around That I Should Talk More About
I spend a lot of time working on Metroblogging these days. I've spent some time offline talking about working on Metroblogging. I realized that I don't talk at all over here about what it's like to work on Metroblogging. It's got its own challenges, rewards, and "interesting" things, some of which are specific to living here.
I've shied away almost entirely from talking about anything local here, since a lot of y'all reading are not from the TC. But, you know, this is about me, and part of me is living here. So there ya go.
So there's this.
- What kind of new project could I introduce to the Twin Cities that I can make time for and do well. For free.
- What it's like to be the captain of Metroblogging Minneapolis.
- How this local/hyperlocal thing works, in different localities/hyperlocalities.
- How awesome the Twin Cities is for people who are doing interesting things.
And there's this.
- How I don't feel as compelled to blog here anymore. Which is freeing, and makes me want to blog more, actually. Also, Twitter fills the void a bit.
- The more I get involved in, the more important it is to me to catalog/archive all that in some way.
- How to exist in, give enough time to, and satisfy multiple circles of friends/interest.
- Not to get caught up on the personal branding bandwagon, but the more I get involved in, the more important it is to tie it all together. How do I want to do that?
And then there's this.
- Missy is so wonderful. Life with Missy is so wonderful. This could get repetitive.
So much to think about, so little time to think.
In other news, I can now get to my blog from work again. This will help. It's all about capturing this stuff in the moment.
I have no good closing.
