8 Things
I've been tagged at least twice that I know of.
The Rules:
1. We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged write their own blog post about their eight things and include these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged and that they should read your blog.
1. HABIT: I'm a knee bouncer. I wouldn't say I'm a particularly nervous person, but my knee is always going. I don't even notice it.
2. FACT: My doctor scolded me about taking vitamins 2 years ago and I have taken them religiously since. Just added a calcium supplement to the mix. I'd probably get more out of eating healthier, but it's better than nothing.
3. HABIT: When I first get on the internet, I go to the same sites in the same order. To the point that hitting those bookmarks is muscle memory.
4. FACT: Y'all have heard me say this before, but easily one of the best things I've ever done in my life is join the Twin Cities Women's Choir. Singing is fun, performing is thrilling, and the people are great. Not to mention that's where I met Missy, which leads me to...
5. FACT: Missy's The One. Seriously. I don't know if I'm more amazed by her, or by how incredibly easy it was to come to that conclusion. No, she's the most amazing thing ever. But it was really easy. That level of absolute certainty is extremely comforting. I've talked before about balance in life and how if you have balance you shouldn't need a relationship to make you happy. But, you know, that is some mighty tasty gravy.
6. HABIT: I'm a terrible procrastinator. Which I attempt to deal with by micromanaging myself to death. Post-its, lists, lists, and more Post-its and more lists. It sometimes works. I was amazingly productive for that three-month period a year ago when I was the only person in my department. No personal email or internet at work at all. Voluntarily. 60-hour work weeks. So I know I can do it. I guess that speaks to my job satisfaction, because it's not like I don't have stuff to do.
7. FACT: I'd say another one of the best things I've ever done in my life is start the Couch-to-5k program. Now that it's harder to work into my schedule, my enthusiasm for running has diminished. And I'll never be a great runner. I'll probably never even run a marathon. But it's amazing how good a good run can make you feel physically and how good it can make you feel about yourself.
8. FACT: Okay, this isn't about me, but it's Missy's birthday today. And my grandma's. And Malia's.
Aaaaaand, I don't tag. And everyone else has already done this (or passed on it). So there.
