All up in the PHL

I'm in Philadelphia right now. Flew out yesterday afternoon. Actually, I'm in Frazer, PA, which is way the fuck out from Philly. It took me a solid 40 minutes at about 75 mph to get here last night. Met up with a college friend and his new wife last night, since I had to miss their wedding last weekend. Dinner and karaoke! The Beave apparently loves the karaoke.

Right now I should be putting my socks on and heading over to the parent company's corporate HQ. Our annual global meeting is tomorrow and this year's format is a roundtable discussion with the CEO. I'm the "lucky" one from my site that got selected to participate.

I just flipped through the bios of the other participants. There's one senior scientist, a few managers, and a few directors and vice presidents. And me. I'm not intimidated at all. Not one bit.

Need a coffee fix. You know, to settle my nervous stomach.
