Addison Montgomery's getting her own show!
Two-hour pilot to air in May. Shonda Rhimes says it's because Addison doesn't get enough love with so many major characters on Grey's Anatomy.

Even better (IMHO) is that Taye Diggs is said to star opposite Kate Walsh in the new show. Yummmm
Yeah, that doesn't hurt at all. I'm interested to see how they write Addison out of Grey's. I hope it's not this whole "I'm still not over Derek and I can't handle watching him and Meredith" crap.
Really, you're excited? I'm worried. I guess her function as the femme fatale is pretty much done on Grey's, but I like her chemistry with Karev, and spinoffs so rarely work. I'd hate to see her on neither show in a year.

She is my hubby's favorite girl. I'm curious as to how they'll pull her out of Grey's. I like her in that show!
I agree with Tanya. I hate to say it, because I looooove Kate, but I can't see it. Of course, I will wait to watch and judge.
