May I Have the Envelope, Please
So, I've gotten all this positive feedback at work. Employee of the Quarter. A fantastic review and rating. Numerous comments here and there. Which is all fine and dandy, but as of the giving of the review, raises hadn't been approved yet. I've been dying to see if the numbers match up. The talk is nice, but show the me the money, ya know?
And they do. Woo, boy, do they. About as good as it gets, I think. I didn't think I could do much better than I did last year, but I sho nuff did.
I'm enjoying it while it lasts, because I'll never get this kind of rating or raise again.

Congrats! That's awesome.
wooo!! Congrats :)
WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, y'all.
I keep doing this calculation: I take the salary I started at when I started my first real job 7 years ago and figure a 3%/year raise. I keep figuring how much of a raise I would have to get now to "catch up" to what my salary would be had I stayed at that level. I'd have to repeat my raise from this year to catch up. Hopefully a year from now (or maybe less...) I'll have a promotion coming up, too.
irk, you know how i am...why in the hell can't you repeat this year's performance? you're obviously kicking ass and taking names, no reasont that it has to stop now. Unless of course you are focusing on different things or don't want to put the same amount of energy into xyz (which is absolutely fine). But you know I'm not gonna let you get away with a statement like that! You are SupaFly chica and they must know it!
Congratulations Erica! Just keep doing you and you'll have another raise, and a promotion before we know it. :-)
I was going to (lovingly) smack you for that comment, but I see fun's already beaten me to it.
Seriously, you never know- 2007 might shape up to be one ass-kicking professional year!
Okay, okay, you guys. Sheesh! Point taken.
Is there an "Employee of the Year" designation?
Congratulations! Now you are in the position that I find myself in, which is maintaining some level of kickass while being completely and thoroughly burned the hell out from all the work that gets you to that great point. Here's to hoping you're at least adequtaely compensated now for all your efforts past and future!
Is there an "Employee of the Year" designation? -- Yes, there is.
maintaining some level of kickass while being completely and thoroughly burned the hell out from all the work that gets you to that great point -- Amen to that. Thanks, babe!
SEE! I knew it all along!
YOU TOTALLY ROCK!
Congrats!!!
Woo Hoo! Turning up the red vino for you! ;)
We just found the same bottle that we had at the thai place that night-YUM!
