Pet Peeve:

People in cars who put their feet up on the dash, or out the window. Especially if they're not wearing shoes. Even more especially if they're barefoot.

Grody!

Okay, that's mine for the day. Gimme one of yours.

You know, I do that. It's more comfortable for me and my long legs when on a road trip. There's only so far I can push the seat back with the car seat behind me. Sorry.

Kimberley said:

*ahem*

I also do that, not that it has anything to do with actually being TALL or anything, no, not at all. Car seats only go back so far ya know. And I do have pedicured feet.

Grody indeed! That bothers the hell outta me. More so when the feet are dirty! Eeeewww

Morons who are fortunate enough to get the end parking spot in a garage or lot and then don't bother to take the liberty of parking over the line so that the rest of us can have a lil extra breathing room. Damn narrow-ass spots.

*note to self: do not put feet on Erica's dashboard next time you are riding in her new Saturn*

Er... I totally put my bare feet on the dash. Constantly. It's more comfy!

yuck! i thought i was the only one who wanted to slap barefooted passengerseaters! (sorry yall). AND to be even more incindiary (sp?) I think that is a cultural thing, i only see a certain type of person with their bare feet on the dash.

I also dislike people who drag their feet in general and particularly when they are wearing flip flops!

Erica said:

OMG OMG OMG. You guys! *squee*

As long as I don't actually see you doing it, I guess y'all can do what you want.

Officially, I deplore this sort of thing; it's a safety hazard, yadda, yadda.

Then again, if someone hangs a couple of really nice tootsies in my field of vision, I think it's churlish to complain.

I am grossed out by feet anyway, so I definitely feel your pain!

My pet peeve is people who clip their nails at work...OMG.

Amaya said:

Ew! Who clips their nails at work? That is just nasty!
I have to admit that I put my feet up on the dash, but in my defense I didn't realize it bothered anyone.
Mouth noises are my pet peeve. Saliva drenched chewing gum, eating with mouth open, gulping, etc.

Erica said:

people who clip their nails at work -- I KNOW! And people who clip their nails onto the floor or anywhere but into a trashcan.

Hey - I can be a redneck riding in the back of a pickup truck, not that my bare feet would be on the dash then...is that the type of person you mean funchilde?

In my defense - I'm the type who'll drive from Boston to T-dot, or D.C. to Charlotte, N.C., and driving barefoot, with that particular leg propped up is comfortable to me. I also found it comfortable when I was a passenger in a vehicle in Key West, although said vehicle has a dash cover of sorts.

funchilde said:

lmao. i wasn't quite going there kimberley, but since you brought it up....

Lachlan said:

Ok, I will confess to clipping my nails at work, BUT ONLY if I snag the crap out of one. General maintenance I do at home. But I'll be damned if I am going to set myself up to rip a nail back to the quick if I can avoid it!
