O Captain, My Captain
I've just become the new captain of the TC Metblog as the previous captain found himself too busy to handle it. I'm excited. There's a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on in the network that I'd like to know more about. (The "network" being all the Metroblogging sites.)
I'm still finding out what exactly the captain does, but I'm sure it's gonna be neat.
And after a bit of a lull, I'm finding myself back in the Top 50. Which, somewhat scarily, isn't that hard to get into. Must. Keep. Blogging.
One of the things that tickles me about writing for Metblog is that people write me and ask me about things I've posted, or mention that they saw I posted something about their group before and could I maybe mention them again. More people read Metblog than I thought. That's pretty cool. Although I don't actually have any idea what the traffic stats are like. Maybe when I get to be captain I'll be privy to that sort of thing. I wish people would comment more.
