Interruption
According to my host, they've been trying to contact me for five months about renewing my plan. I never got any of those emails. Like, they didn't even go in the junk folder. They just never got to my account on record. So I don't know how that worked, but I need to re-sign up or find a new host ASAP. I got grandfathered in when my previous host got bought out, but my new host doesn't have anything even remotely approaching what I had before, much less have it affordably. (Was that a sentence? I don't think so.) And I have negative dollars in the bank at the moment anyway, so I don't know how long before they suspend me again. I doubt I'll make it until payday next Friday.
So spread the word. I'm host shopping. If I disappear again, that's why. And I won't be able to get your emails, either.

I use Powweb (powweb.com) and they've been just fine with me. You'll have extra good luck with them if you're enabled dynamic publishing.
In addition to Powweb, there's Surpass Hosting, Dreamhost and TotalChoice Hosting that are also great. I use Surpass myself.
If you need some temporary hosting space, until you get your ends up, I can host you.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check 'em out!
I've got some extra space, too. If you you wind up needing to move it right away, just as the word!
GoDaddy.com is great, and really cheap, too.
Qwk.net rules my webiverse. :)
My lord...ya damn near gave me a heart attack earlier.
I use Internet Planners...the first "package" is $5.95 a month and is plenty if you don't have a lot of pictures.
Ack! You can't disappear!!
I am on Dreamhost too, and it's okay, and affordable-ish...
Check your e-mail from me.
I hate recommending anyone, after the last fiasco, but I use surpasshosting, which has been pretty good to me for almost a year now.
Also, Moxie just partnered with Blogomania and their hosting packages are very reasonable and uptime is fantastic.
I also have space...lots of it...and ya know, I can hook you up whichever way as far as money goes.
Suggest: Valueweb (valueweb.com). You can get good hosting for under twenty bucks a month. I'll email you a screen shot of their very-user-friendly web interface to control your site.
Brent!
