Still Distracted

The girl shall henceforth be known as Fly Girl.

Nutshell: The shopping date went well and I got a cool new jacket at her recommendation. I was on a mission to pick up some new overalls since my old ones now have a gaping hole in the crotch, but I didn't find any.

She left me yet another adorable voicemail message within an hour of my getting to work, so I called her when I got done and went over to her place last night. She took me on a scenic drive around St. Paul. Since I flushed my last pair of contacts down the sink a few weeks ago and my glasses perscription is a bit out of date, I couldn't actually see a whole lot. That and it was about 1 a.m. so nothing was lit up. We decided we should do it again both in the daylight and in the early evening when all the Christmas lights are on.

Saw lots of bridges and views of the Mississippi River. Supposedly the roof of the St. Joseph's Hospital parking garage has a great view, but we didn't see much from up there. I froze my ass off at all the scenic stops because I'm in denial about how cold it is.

Yadda yadda yadda, I just got home an hour ago. I totally wasn't planning to go there, but I ain't complainin'.

I'm sleepy and in a total fog. This will be the Longest Day Of Work Ever.
