Urban Archipelago

A post-election issue of The Stranger, found via Bayou, has an article on the concept of the Urban Archipelago that I liked so much I couldn't pass on posting it. You know those little blue dots amongst that sea of red? That's it. The urban archipelago.

Eleventh Avenue South also mentioned it and garnered some interesting comments.
