I Got a Boo Boo

I clocked myself at work yesterday. I was swinging a heavy, hard plastic door downward from overhead and didn't step back far enough. I caught the corner of it with my forehead. I know I yelled out, "OW! FUCK!" Then I got all hot and flushed and lightheaded for a minute. Then the headache came rushing in. I walked off the line and raided the first aid cabinet for drugs. It wasn't until I went into the locker room that I noticed it was bleeding.

It's not really all that bad. More embarrassing than anything. The swelling's gone down. It sure did hurt at the time, though. If the drugs hadn't killed the headache, I would have gone home. As it was, I was really sleepy for the rest of the night. Maybe it was the aftermath of the adrenaline rush.

Now, no matter what I do with my hair (short of just leaving it down, which I can't do for work), it's tugging on that little bit of scalp, which is mildly annoying.

Anybody want to kiss it and make it better?
