Travel Plans, Missy Elliot, etc.
Hello, Swirlspice readers. It's Erica's friend Kelley, from suburban blight. I'm pretty effing jealous of Erica at the moment; I used to live in San Francisco, and although I have no intention of living there again, it is a great city. Plus, I need a vacation. Erica somewhere cool + me stuck at home = green-eyed monster. Erica, I've got every movable appendage of my body crossed in hope that your trip there will be a success, and that you get a killer job and find a wonderful apartment. Stat. So I can come visit!
Yep, I need a vacation. This has been a stressful three months, and I am desperate for a change of scenery. But! Fear not! Next weekend is the Beach Party! Wahoo! Yes, gentle readers, I am going to Florida next weekend with my dear friend Patti. It's going to be wonderful. I cannot wait. It'll be four whole days of sun, sand, surf, grilling out, learning golf from the Master (my friend Patti's girlfriend Jeannie is, like, some kind of Golf Goddess), etc. House on the beach. Destin area. Pool. Tennis courts. Steam sauna. Hot tub! Margarita machine!! Need I say more?
Next weekend, Erica will be back in Minnesota and I can say bwahahaha!
At any rate, I got all gussied up in preparation today. It rocked!
If you're a fly girl, get your nails done -
-get a pedicure
-get your hair did.
If I look like a Halle Berry poster, that Belvedere really is playin' tricks on ya. If you don't listen to Missy Elliot, you have no idea what I'm talking about. But that's okay.
I promise, next time I post here it will be something substantive. I promise.
