Referrer Spam
It started with Paris Hilton's blogspot site. Then it was the RIAA. This weekend I got hit pretty good by Joe Lieberman's campaign website. Yesterday it was Ryan Seacrest's new show and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (whose website has Jimmy Kimmel's mug on it - not helping their cause).
It's mostly harmless. Not like comment or trackback spam. It's not sucking up bandwidth or anything. But it's a tad bit annoying. Although it's also mildly entertaining.
I've also gotten some questionable comments lately. Not spam in the traditional sense, but some random folks leaving comments on relatively recent posts. They're not entirely off-topic, but they always include links back to themselves. Maybe I shouldn't jump the gun on 'em.
Also, to anyone who got denied for saying "fuck" in the comments, I just noticed that word is listed on the blacklist all by its lonesome. So I took it off. So go ahead and fuck away!
