Ohmydog do not get me started...

Too late.

I wear Secret Unscented Invisible Solid and IT IS NOT FUCKING UNSCENTED. Which really pisses me off.

Oh and I know I should switch brands. But other then the smell...the shit works.

The ONLY thing that works for me is Degree Spectrum (Powder Fresh scent). Everything wilts like a frail flower under the influence of my supernatural sweat glands! (I probably shouldn't be so outspoken about those things, huh??)

Empress, I feel you. I think I happen to be a particularly sweaty person. I was horrifed to see on tv the other day that excessive deodorant usage facilitates the yellowing of shirt-armpits. Girls don't do undershirts like boys. I've never seen a boy whose undershirt-armpits were not all yellow. What am I supposed to do besides stop wearing white shirts?

In case you all wanted to know.

WHAT?!?!?!

DEODERANT causes that?

sonofabitch. Between yellow pits in my white t's and the smell of the deoderant...i'm wondering why i bother.

there HAS to be an alternative.

Suave Naturals Raspberry... it's a very light smell, and quite effective.

dove invisible solid is "fresh scent."

mmmmm.

I used Elizabeth Arden Green Tea for years. I tried the new Dove Invisible Solid with Moisturizing Lotion and I loved it. I either use fresh scent or powder scent.

I wish they had greater variety of deodorants in travel size because I always want to try different stuff but who wants to spend $3, take one swipe, hate it, and then be stuck with it?

I'm kind of curious about that... what's that crystal rock thing? But that costs even more than a stick of deodorant.

Old Spice. There's a reason it's a classic.

Dave said:

Oh, and I remember reading about labeling laws, that "unscented" doesn't really mean unscented. It just means that they dump in chemicals to neutralize other strong-smelling ingredients. (Like "unscented" hairspray--if it were truly unscented, it would smell strongly of alcohol and no one would use it.)

If you want something that doesn't smell of anything (or of anything added, anyway), look for the words "fragrance-free".

Old Spice High Endurance Stick, original.

Smells great and works.

Those yellow stains go away if you scrub the stain with Hydrogen Peroxide. But the Old Spice doesn't stain my shirts.

Also, anti-perspirants work in the short run, but make you sweat more. Go to deodorant. You'll sweat at first, then stop.

Those crystal rocks are shite and don't work. You ever smelled a hippie?!

D

lady speed stick fresh peach.

i bought one of those rocks when i was in college. it's a deodorant, not an anti-perspirant. so you still sweat, but it doesn't smell. very weird. but this was before "no white residue" stuff, so it was good for black clothes and sundresses.

Secret Platinum Protection in Powder Fresh (which I can never find in the large size). It makes my pits happy. :D
