Grey Bird has a mini-tutorial on her landlording process. I'm about to start looking for housing again soon, so I'm reminded to mind my Ps and Qs. Too bad I'm not moving to her neck of the woods.

Yeah, Erica... too bad. The place is sweet and it would be perfect for you. It's not too far from the plant and just on the edge of the hip 'hood (where places are in crappier condition but more expensive). I bet you'd really like it here, it's got that urban industrial feel like Detroit but it's smaller, friendlier and safer.
