Ignorance was bliss

I added a new toy that gives me a little more comprehensive view of who visits me here, and now I'm thinking maybe I just didn't need to know. Actually, I'm mostly just curious because I think there are people that I know that are reading that haven't said that they're reading. In some cases it's pretty easy to narrow down who's who. I mean, I wouldn't have given the address out if I cared that much, but it's just easier to say stuff when I don't think about who I'm saying it to.

Okay, this mostly boils down to the fact that someone, say someone of the Friend Of The Parents variety, seems to have logged on one day after I wrote this. I could be totally wrong, but... I don't think I am.

And thus concludes my daily dose of paranoia.

I was thinking a totally different toy as well :P

So, where is this new toy? Is it something I can get? I can be a little obsessed with who visits me...there are some people I'd rather didn't! :D

We've gone a step further - we didn't like the free stats systems that are out there so my husband wrote his own that logs a lot more detail. Any time he gets a page view from someone suspected of having family ties he straight-up blocks their domain. WHich works for him because they can't view his site at all, but all it does on mine is block them from viewing my formatting.

So not only can his ex-wife read my blog but she thinks I'm a shitty designer, too.

(If friends of the parents read that post it's doubtful they'll be back - so rest easy, little hopper.)

Pita - http://reinvigorate.net.

If it were a *fun* toy I would have told y'all all about it. I talked about the Fukuoku, didn't I? Speaking of, they really need to develop longer lasting batteries. The folks at Target are gonna think something's seriously wrong with my watch.

Em - I'll just say they live where you live.

I wish I knew how to code my own comments.

Ah. I know of whom you are speaking...

every so often i'll get a hint from one of my friend's colleges and freak out -- or worse, an "army.mil" address. but usually they're all looking for porn anyway, so no big deal

funny, my "watch" sure runs out of batteries a lot, too ... LOL on that.

and by "hint", i of course meant "hit", btw.
