Urban Tribes

A year and a half ago, there was a NY Times article about the phenomenon of urban tribes. I think it’s a pretty fascinating concept and it describes the life situations of many people I know. I did some searching and came across a guy named Ethan Watters who has written a book on the subject. His website, urbantribes.net, has a little bit of info and the original NY Times article. I joined his mailing list a while back, and just received some info on the upcoming release of the book.
