I don’t know what’s worse: that the Red Wings just got swept in the first round, listening to my dad talk about it, or the fact that there will be no Wings games on network tv next year. At least someone took it upon themselves to throw an octopus on the ice during the 3rd period when we tied it up. Guess it’s time to root for the Stars.

UPDATE: I’m just gonna go with “What Bridgette Said.” I’m moving on to basketball. How ’bout a Pistons vs. Kings final?

    Soooooooooooo sad. Now I really know what it is like to be a Rangers fan. My own list of I don’t know what is worse: that the Wings are out, that I will have to listen to people from NJ talk shit to me, that I won’t be able to wear my Wings hat for a good two months without harrassment. DAMNIT, DAMNIT, DAMNIT. I couldn’t even watch last night.

    No, don’t root for Dallas! Pull for an all Canada final! Canada deserves its own little subway series. Think how glorious it would be: a Stanley Cup finals not tainted by the American national anthem. I’m sure ESPN would just SINK in terms of ratings (as if it isn’t already). For the love of gods though, someone needs to get Anaheim out NOW. Not only because I have come to despise Mr. Kariya, but because fucking DISNEY cannot, repeat emphatically, CANNOT have champions in two sports. They’re taking over the worldddddddddddd! (Hmm…maybe it is a fix…any coincidence that Disney also owns ESPN?)

    as for me, i like dallas okay — they’ve got mah-ty tuhr-co aftah all (i always make sure to say “mah-ty” like i’m from maine, and no, i don’t know why).

    I’m so depressed I haven’t even read up yet on how the other series are going. I’ll go study up before I officially announce my loyalties. I just went with the stars because of Mahty. I have been meaning to go to Hockeytown Authentics and pick up some gear for the car, and now I have no motivation. I’m taking the flags out of the car (I’ve been keeping them in the trunk, at the ready). My hat’s in storage anyway (I should have gotten it out!). My Yzerman sweater is waiting to be washed (I should have washed it!). *sigh*
