ScreenCastsOnline – Scrivener 2.0

This is a fantastic screencast demonstration of how to use Scrivener to create and organize content. Really well done. A solid 35 minutes and all of it is useful.

Some tips that I think will be useful for my work:

  • the Split function separates one document into several parts
  • using split screen or QuickRef windows to view research or other writing files while you work in one
  • dragging a URL to the Research folder renders the web page in Scrivener
  • taking and comparing snapshots of different document versions
