Ford’s venerable F150 pickup ended its 17-year-run as the best-selling vehicle in America last month, dethroned by the Honda Civic and three other Japanese sedans.
I’m not convinced they’re completely dead, but not at all surprised sales have dropped off so quickly. It was a blessing in disguise two years ago that I was forced into swapping out my Jeep Grand Cherokee (much as I loved it) for a Saturn Ion which gets 32 mpg if I’m really nice to it.
