Now, I know my mother misses me when I’m gone and is enjoying my being around, but I swear she drives me nuts. I’m the kinda person who likes their peace and quiet time alone. I agreed to watch The Amazing Race with her last night. She told me I wasn’t allowed to type on the computer because she could hear me typing. But I swear she asked a question every three minutes. I had to tell her to be quiet. And then she was picking on me. All in good fun. And that’s just how we get along. But I just had enough. She exasperates me, and she does it on purpose! But I love her anyway. Dammit.
Oscar de la Hoya is so furking adorable. Pinch his cheeks! He’s on Jay Leno. He’s got the most adorable smile. I’d name my kid Oscar.
And why the hell does Channel 4 (that’s the NBC affiliate in Detroit) not air Conan right after Jay? Like it’s not late enough already. At least now they’re showing Jerry Springer in between instead of Jenny Jones.
