I put on nice pants and a nice shirt. I wore nice shoes and a nice jacket. I went out and about and did things, dressed up all nice. It felt good.
Okay, this is what most people consider normal business attire. Since I’m just a tablet monkey, I don’t ever have to dress up for work. Not even business-casual khakis-and-a-polo. I wear jeans and a t-shirt to work, change into my uniform when I get there, and put the jeans back on when I leave.
So this dressing up stuff is a big deal for me. Just for the purpose of existing through a day. It felt good.
