Something Ate My Shirt

I just noticed that the t-shirt I’m wearing has a bunch of teeny little holes in it. It looks like they’re limited to the front right side of the shirt, from the shoulder all the way down to hem. I haven’t taken it off, so I don’t know if there are any more on the back.

So how the hell did they get there? Where they there when I put it on? Did that happen in the wash? Did it happen while I was sleeping? (Do I have bedbugs?) Did it happen in my closet? It doesn’t look like any of the rest of my shirts have this problem. (Okay, I only looked at three sitting on top of the t-shirt pile, and I didn’t even unfold them.) I couldn’t have leaned on something or brushed against something that would cause a bunch of teeny little snags all over like this.

Maybe my shirt is just falling apart. Weird.

I’d blame the cats if they look like little teeth holes. I still have a few pairs of underwear with marks like these (from my dog sneaking them out of the laundry basket and chewing them up, blah).

Then again, I don’t know why cats would eat T-shirts.

That could totally be it. Little bastards.

Bleach causes fabric to break down, especially if its applied directly. If this is a shirt you normally bleach, consider using your washer’s bleach dispenser or filling the empty washer halfway, then bleach, then clothes.

Or it could be the cats.
