Because now instead of following my two hometown teams plus Diana Taurasi, I pretty much have to follow the entire league to keep up with all the Olympians. This is much more interesting.
The six teams in the Eastern Conference are only separated by two games. The final standings are anybody’s guess. The Lynx may just hang on to make the playoffs in the West without Katie Smith, but they sure won’t be winning any championships without her. Helen Darling (who is SO FINE) has really stepped up.
I’ve decided I really don’t hate Lisa Leslie, but I do still hate the Sparks.
