I Can’t Believe I’m About To Say This

I turned on the tv looking for something and came across The Nick and Jessica Variety Hour. I didn’t think it was an ongoing thing. This must have been a rerun.

I wouldn’t say it’s good exactly, but it’s not that bad. It totally reminds me of the Muppet Show, but with people. I mean, they’re no Sonny and Cher, or even Kermit and Piggy (who make an appearance). Okay, and the Nick La Shave (“Hi, I’m Nick Lachey, and I wanna shave you.”) was kinda funny. If it were somebody I didn’t loathe I might even like it.

I’m going back to ESPN now.

    Now, I did not say that I thought ABBA “sucked” or that I thought that they were evil. I just said that I really really really don’t like their music. Or that’s what I meant anyway.

    i heard it was funny. it was just a special. i thought it was a show at first. i think abc just needed something to show. they passed on jessica’s sitcom for the fall giving her a chance to star in the dukes of hazzard movie as daisy. they prob realized they fucked up.

    Yah – I saw it a few weeks ago – and was entertained – I was surprised. It was like the old days of DOnny & Marie, Sonny & Cher, Captain & Tenille etc etc.
    I didn’t realize though that Jessica had absolutely no singing voice what-so-ever! bad bad bad. When she sang with Jewel, I was totally embarassed for her. And what is with her hands? Does she have turrets or something? ack! bad. Though Nick can sing…
    The things you will watch when there is nothing on TV – crazy shite…..
