I just complained about basketball being on, but I am so enjoying watching the Kings run circles around the Lakers. The Kings are the only non-hometown professional sports team I’ve ever really liked. If the Pistons can’t win, I want the Kings to take it.

I could do without the throwback jerseys, though. They look stupid. I don’t think they’re even throwback jerseys. They’re just throwback-esque jerseys. And they’re ugly. Why do they need different uniforms than they normally wear? If they wanted to do like they do in hockey and have a third jersey (same style as normal uniforms, but in the accent color instead of their whites or darks), that’d be fine. These? These are stupid.

    Glad I’m not the only one who thought the Kings’ jerseys look whack!! I didn’t even recognize them. Crappy design.

    I have to agree. They are not Jersey’s that are actually throwback, but rather a design based on someones concept, which is horrible.

    The idea from hockey is a great one!

    How odd that I come across this thread since I was actually at the game yesterday.

    The Kings have worn those jerseys a couple of times this year. The jersey IS a throwback. The uniform design goes back to the Kansas City Kings days and the Kings also wore it for their first few years in Sacramento.
