IRV is in!

    Hey, cool. That’s how they do it in Ireland, and I always thought it was neat.

    But in Ireland, they’ll often have, like, three people running for the same party. Do you know if they’re going to do that in MN, or if they’ll still have primaries, so there’ll only be one candidate per party?

    I had to go back to the website and check. It mentions the Irish system, but it doesn’t specifically state whether or not that’s the way we’ll do it here.

    I’m thinking we’ll have multiple candidates per party, since the purpose of the primary was to pick one candidate per party and this process is supposed to eliminate primaries.
