Shiny Happy People Holding Hands

The flowers are arriving!!! Check out the happy couples. I could cry.

I know we’ve all seen this particular picture:
Frank Capley and Joe Alfano get married in San Francisco

The looks on those faces. My god. It’s beautiful. Can you imagine what the cheering outside of San Francisco City Hall must sound like?

I love this photo. There are two others from Thursday that make my heart melt. The first one on the board from Thrusday of the elderly women – amazing and the last one in the row. The passion in their faces is unreal. You can seriously feel how much they love eachother.

It is so nice to see people in love.

It’s funny, because I think it doesn’t matter what you believe…when it comes to seeing those faces, the pure joy and happiness and love…it has to move everyone!

This is so amazingly cool! I am covered with goosebumps looking at the pictures and reading the stories. This is a wonderful, wonderful time in history right now.

    I’m a little verklempt.

This is a wonderful, wonderful time in history right now.

Empress, I kinda like to think so, too. I just hope it has a happy ending.

I wonder if the roses they’re holding are from the flower donation money? I wish I had a few dollars to throw their way. The roses really help to make that picture. *sniffle*…no one gave me flowers at my city hall wedding :)

It sucks that the government is trying to prevent happiness like this. :(

I wish I could be there to see, hear and experience it in person.

This brings tears to my eyes, particularly because I just found out yesterday that one of my best friends and her partner are planning to travel to San Francisco to get married themselves. These pictures are so moving. I couldn’t be happier for all of these couples.

I don’t know how anyone could look at these pictures and say any of it is wrong or against God or any of that. The sheer joy, love, and freedom there–I was really moved by it all.

It just gives me a little shiver. In a very good kind of way. :-)
