I needed to print something. I don’t have a printer. My roommate does, but it’s not hooked up on the wireless router. So I just stole a USB cable he was using to plug an external hard drive into his laptop, plugged one end into the printer and the other end into my iBook.
Hit Cmd-P in Ragtime and voila! There’s my printer in the dropdown list. Hit Return and away it goes. It was that easy.
