So, I’ve got this whole CSS button thing down.
You can totally skip reading this if you don’t know or don’t care what I’m talking about.
There’s three kinds. There’s the all-CSS/all-text version of those buttons you can make with the Zeller/Kalsey Button Maker. Then there’s their fancier cousin which incorporates hover effects. And then there’s actual button-looking depressible buttons.
I’m not really interested in the button-looking buttons at the moment. But I’m digging on the other two kinds.
Except I have no furking clue what to do with them. And that’s a lot of CSS to be adding for no apparent reason. One initial declaration, then up to four lines of code per style of button (depending on level of fanciness and customization). Which is still lighter than an image file (I think). It’s just a mess to look at.
Most of my rationale for cutting down on the buttons was for visual purposes, not bandwidth or loading times. So putting buttons back in doesn’t make sense from that standpoint. It’s not even as clean as I’d like it to be right now. Don’t want it to get all bahzizzay.
Anyway, I put one in, just so I can say I did it.
