MichiganThis Saturday is the Michigan-Ohio State game so it is not too early to start getting pumped up about it. I’m off this weekend, so I think I’ll be treating myself and going out to watch the game in some place that has beers.

Most everything I’ve read predicts a Michigan win, if only because the game is in Ann Arbor. Of course I’d like us to go to the Rose Bowl, but I’m equally as interested in fucking up Ohio State’s chance to play in the national title game.

ESPN says it’s all about the quarterbacks. We shall see. I don’t know how exactly John Navarre has managed to set any records, but he has. I think it’s too late for him to learn how to scramble, though.

The task for today is to vote for the best College Football Rivalry. In one semifinal it’s Michigan/Ohio State vs. Texas/Oklahoma. In the other semifinal is Army/Navy and Auburn/Alabama. (via the watergirl)

    I voted. Screw Michigan. (heh, kidding… don’t hurt me) Screw Ohio State. I didn’t go to either school, so why should I care about the rivalry even though it is tossed about everywhere around here? No, no, it’s time I just say “Stanfurd sucks” & “Go!Bears!” although no one has any clue what I’m saying hereabouts.

    Michigan better damn well win. After that debacle of OSU leaping USC in the BCS crap standings, I need Michigan to win. And they can do me the favor of winning big too. Also, after all those years of total domination of OSU, especially when Cooper was there, they can’t start to roll over now, right?

    You know how I feel about this. Though I’m not one of those asses who will like OSU just b/c I don’t like Michigan. I don’t dislike Michigan. I just don’t care about this game. Stupid Spartans sucking up a damn storm like I knew was gonna happen.

    oh, man. i’m SO PUMPED for the game! i’m going to watch with the alumni club so i can sing “the victors” with them. YAY!

    i really want to wear my jersey into work friday, but i doubt they’ll let me. damnit.

    word on navarre. god, i loathe that fucker. if he can pull this one out, i might not make such rampant fun of him, and it’ll be great that we won, but if he can’t, then i can hate him effectively forever, since i don’t think the bastard has ever beaten OSU (has he?).

    we also won “best uniform,” btw. aw, yeah.

    I hate Ohio State so I’ll be rooting for MeatChicken for you Erica. A tie would make me the happiest though :)
