I just talked to good ol’ Bernie at Russ Darrow Chrysler. He told me they don’t even have the parts for the driver door handle so the soonest I could get it taken care of is Monday. I’ll leave that one until I get back home. No idea how much that even costs.
Then he said they noticed several leaks under the car. The transfer case seals are leaking transmission fluid. The shocks are leaking oil. Bernie said I can drive home on the shocks but I really should get the transfer case taken care of.
So transfer case and oil change are being completed to the tune of $333 plus tax. He said the factory replacement for the shocks costs $500. I’ll have to let Tony take care of that one, too. I don’t care if the part is factory as long as it works.
