Old Navy, You Are Evil and other random bits

I got an Old Navy ad thingy in the mail today which I usually throw away, but this one came with a bag that says anything you put in here is 20% off! How can I say no to that? Which is the point, of course.

Sort of related to that: Am I the only person (guys’ answers don’t count) who hates capri pants? If I’m gonna wear pants halfway down my calves, I’d rather just wear pants. If I’m gonna wear pants that come just below my knees, I’d rather just wear shorts. How much longer is it until culottes/skorts come back? To clarify, I am not looking forward to that day. I don’t know how many skort/rayon shirt/vest outfits I went through in the late 80s/early 90s. Unacceptable!

I discovered a nifty little feature of NetNewsWire that I’m sure everyone else already knows how to use but I’m excited anyway. I put all my subscriptions in groups so that a) I don’t have to scroll waaay down the list of sites to see where the updates are and b) when I select the group folder it shows me the updated headlines and the site they came from! Sweet!

Is anyone else a little weirded out to see Maureen Dowd doing an op-ed column on Ali G?

    Capris stink. That’s nothing but wearing high-waters on purpose. I will say that Title 9 Sports has some bad-ass skorts, though. I’d wear one of those anytime.

    Not a big capri fan and I never thought this trend would last this tthis many seasons in a row.. I’m kind of tired of 3/4 length things in general. As for skorts, even worse IMO.. skirt in the front, shorts in the back? It’s like the mullet of apparel. WTF??
